Customer Reviews
Decent Go set, slow shipping
I bought a Go game set, the one with the bamboo board and single convex stones. The quality of the board and stones themselves is quite good for the price; they felt solid and well-made. However, the shipping took almost a week and a half, which was a bit longer than I expected. The tracking info wasn't updated super regularly either. Customer service was responsive when I inquired, but a faster or more transparent delivery would make it a perfect experience.
Consistently good quality
I ordered another Riichi Mahjong set last month. This is my third order from Yellow Mountain Imports over the years, and they've always been reliable. The new set arrived in about four days, just like my previous Mahjong mat and Go set. The tile quality is great, no weird chips or anything. It's why I keep coming back, honestly. Never had an issue with their stuff.
Good chess set
Got a weighted chess set a couple weeks ago. It was for my son, he plays a lot. Shipping was pretty quick, like four days to our place in Oregon. The pieces feel nice and heavy, good quality. He really likes it, which is the main thing. Felt good about the purchase.
Good deal on dominoes
I was looking for a decent set of dominoes for our family game nights and found a good price here. I signed up for their newsletter and got a 10% discount on my first order. That made the set super affordable. Shipping was free too, since I spent over $75 by adding a deck of cards. It felt like a solid value for what I paid.
Quick shipping, nice product
Bought a Mahjong carrying case. Arrived fast, in 3 days. Case is sturdy. Fits my set well. Happy with purchase.
My favorite place for games!
I needed a new felt table cover for my game nights, and this one is fantastic! The quality is amazing, and it stays put on the table. It arrived so fast, I was really surprised! I'm absolutely going to order more items from Yellow Mountain Imports, maybe a new Chess set next. Highly recommend them to anyone who loves classic games!

Anyone know if YMI does free shipping often? Trying to decide if I should wait for a deal.
Are the Mahjong sets from YMI 'full size' or are some of them travel versions? The descriptions can be a little vague sometimes.
I'm in Chicago, how long does shipping usually take for a Mahjong set from them? Need it before a game night next week.
Thinking about getting a Mahjong set, but also looking at Mah Jongg Maven. How do YMI sets compare?
Hey, thinking of grabbing a new Mahjong set from YMI. Are their sets actually good quality? Don't wanna get something cheap that falls apart.
